Overview

Tarangire national park is among the seasonal parks in Tanzania, flooded with wild animals especially during dry seasons. This park is where you will find large herds of elephants and lots of baobab trees. The Tarangire River is what attracts large number of wild animals during the dry season.

best known for

Tarangire national park is 2850 square kilometer in size and home for about 55o variety of bird species. You can pay visit the park on the way to Manyara, Ngorongoro or Serengeti National parks.

    • Tarangire being a seasonal park its densely populated with wild animals during the dry seasons.so  the best time for animal viewing in this park is from June – October .this is the period where most animals migrate following the Tarangire river to quench their thirsty. November- April are wet seasons with a lot of rains hence animals are scattered.
